Lịch Nếp (formerly LunaCalen) is a lunisolar calendar website published by xBook (xbookvn.com), which is responsible for processing your data. This policy explains what we collect, why, where it is stored, for how long, and your rights. Contact for personal data: info@tutbrand.vn.

1. No account needed to use the calendar

The calendar, converter, auspicious days, printing and reference pages need no sign-in, use no tracking cookies and no advertising or analytics tools. All calendar calculations run in your browser.

2. Account for Reminders

To create reminders you sign in with Google’s own “Sign in with Google” button. The button and Google’s sign-in library are loaded from Google’s servers only when you open the sign-in step; Google then sends Lịch Nếp an identity token containing your email, name and profile picture. Only after you tick the consent box and sign in do we store:

Account details provided by Google: email address, display name, profile picture — to identify your account.
The reminder list you enter: event names, lunar dates, times and alert choices — to show them on all your devices and write them into Google Calendar.
Your calendar settings: language, countries and the calendar layers you switch on or off, so the calendar looks the same on every device. Your location and coordinates are not stored in your account.
When and which version of this policy you accepted, and the id of the “Lịch Nếp” calendar in your Google Calendar.

Legal basis: your consent (the consent box before sign-in). You can withdraw it at any time by deleting your account (section 5).

3. Where data is stored and service providers

Account data and reminder lists are stored with Supabase, on servers in Sydney, Australia, in a dedicated Lịch Nếp project (the same login works for the website and the Lịch Nếp phone app). Your data is therefore transferred to and stored outside Vietnam; by ticking the consent box you agree to this. Each user can only read and change their own data (row-level access rules), and connections are always encrypted (HTTPS).

Service providers involved: Supabase (account and data storage), Google (sign-in and Google Calendar, under Google’s privacy policy) and the website hosting provider (technical logs, section 8). We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for advertising.

4. Google Calendar access

Lịch Nếp only asks to “make secondary calendars and manage events on calendars the app created”, and only when you press “Connect Google Calendar”. We create one calendar named Lịch Nếp in your Google account and only add, change and delete events in that calendar, based on the reminders you enter. Lịch Nếp does not read or change your other calendars or events. The Google access token is kept only temporarily in your browser (about 1 hour at most) and is never stored on our servers.

Lịch Nếp’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular: Google data is used only to provide the reminder feature visible on the website; it is not used for advertising; it is not sold; it is not transferred to others except as necessary to provide this feature, to comply with the law, or with your permission; no person reads it unless you agree, it is needed for security purposes, or the law requires it; and it is not used to train artificial-intelligence models.

5. Retention and your rights

Data is kept until you delete your account. You can view, edit and download a backup of your list at any time, and withdraw consent and delete your account from Reminders → Manage account: your account, profile and list on our server are deleted immediately and, if you choose, the Lịch Nếp calendar in Google Calendar too. You can revoke Lịch Nếp’s access at Google Account → Third-party connections. You can also send requests to access, correct or delete your data, or complaints, to info@tutbrand.vn; we reply within the time required by law.

6. Data stored on your device

Your browser keeps some choices (theme, language, current section) and your sign-in session (localStorage, sessionStorage). Signing out or clearing the site data in your browser removes them.

Location, local time and weather. Lịch Nếp uses your device's time zone to show local time and to estimate which country you are in, so it can show that country's holidays. Only when you press “Use my location” and allow it when your browser asks does Lịch Nếp read your position; the coordinates are rounded to about 1 km and kept in this browser only. To get a weather forecast, your browser sends the rounded coordinates (or the centre of the province you picked; outside Vietnam, the main city of your time zone) to the Lịch Nếp server (lich.neple.vn); you can also pick a province by hand, which is kept in this browser only, and the province of a shared position is worked out in your browser and not sent anywhere. The server forwards the request to the Norwegian Meteorological Institute (MET Norway) and keeps the forecast for that rounded point for up to 2 days, not linked to any account and without storing IP addresses. You can turn weather off or clear your location in Settings.

Personal rhythm (Focus, Breathe). Focus and breathing sessions and your choices in this section are kept only in your browser (IndexedDB and localStorage). They are not sent to Lịch Nếp's server or to third parties, and are not stored in your account. Sounds are generated on your device. You can download a copy or delete all of this data from the Personal section; clearing your browsing data also deletes it.

7. Files you download

Calendar files (.ics), backups (.json), share images and PDFs are created on your device. When you import them into another service, that service’s policy applies.

8. Embedded widget and web hosting

The embeddable widget only shows today’s lunar date and collects no data about viewers. The website hosting provider may keep technical logs (IP address, time of access) to operate and secure the system.

9. Children

The Knowledge section is for all ages and needs no account. Children need the consent of a parent or guardian to create an account, as required by law.

10. Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes. If a change affects how your data is used, we will announce it on the website and ask for your consent again where needed.
